We have a complete education framework developed to provide a holistic approach to ensure each child is educated to be a successful all-rounder, both in this world and the hereafter.
Admission Criteria
Admission at Insight International School is purely on the basis of merit. Furthermore, admission to the available programs depends on the type and level of the program.
Age-Based Learning Readiness
- Admissions are aligned with children's readiness to engage with the curriculum.
- Emphasis on natural milestones rather than formal academic achievements.
Grade-Wise Books
- The school follows CAIE for core subjects like English and Math.
- Islamic subjects are based on in-house materials aligned with Quran and Sunnah.
Admission Process
The admissions process involves these three steps. Our admission process is designed to make the transition to our school as smooth as possible, ensuring that both you and your child feel welcomed and supported.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Admission is processed in the order completed applications are received, subject to approval and seat availability.
- Complete all sections of the school’s admission form and submit it with the following supporting documents.
- Two (2) recent passport-size photographs of the applicant
- Two (2) recent passport-size photographs of each parent/guardian
- Birth certificate of the applicant
- Passport copies of applicant, father, mother, and/or guardian (for foreign applicants)
- NID copies of applicant, father, mother, and/or guardian (for Bangladeshi applicants)
- Letter of conduct and behavior from previous schools
- School leaving certificate or school leaving report
- Most recent full school report and any other reports from the past 12 months
- Medical details of any specific or special medical requirements
Submission
- Send the completed application form along with all supporting documents to the school’s admissions office.
Processing of Application
- The admission team will review the application and schedule placement tests.
Early Years (Playgroup, Nursery, KG)
-Informal, play-based observation assessing:
-Language and communication (Bangla and English)
-Fine and gross motor skills
-Basic number sense (counting, shapes, colors, sizes)
-Ability to follow instructions
-Social-emotional development
-Recognition of Arabic letters (for Islamic track)
-Duration: 20–30 minutes (with breaks if needed)
Primary & Secondary (Grade 1 and above)
-Written and oral assessments covering:
-English Language (reading, writing, and speaking)
-Mathematics (numeracy and problem-solving)
-Science (Grade 3 and above)
-Islamic Knowledge and Arabic (if applicable)
-Observation of classroom participation, behavior, and attention span
-Screening for special learning needs (if required)
-Short interview with teacher or academic coordinator
Grades 7–9
-Written tests in English, Mathematics, and Science
-Islamic studies assessment
-Placement interview with senior teachers and academic head
Admission Outcome
Students are only admitted into Insight International School once all the following have been met:
- Previous school reports (if any) demonstrate performances that meet Insight International School’s standards.
- The entrance assessment was completed with satisfactory performance.
- The Head of School has given written approval based on the entrance assessment.
- Parents/guardians have signed the Terms and Conditions of the school.
- All required documents listed in the application form have been submitted.
- Payment of required fees has been made on or before the stated deadline.
Offer Types
Accepted – Offer letter issued with details of fees and next steps. Admission is confirmed after all documents are submitted and fees are paid within the deadline. Conditional Offer – Granted if additional support or further assessment is required; progress will be monitored. Unsuccessful – Applicant notified with constructive feedback. Waiting List – If the class is full, the applicant is placed on a waiting list and notified when a seat becomes available.
