Only selective students of IISD are offered an exclusive Fulltime Hifzprogram with Academic studies from Grade-I to IV. In this program, students devote at least 6 hours daily at school for the noble cause ofHifz (excluding Fridays). Along with the memorization of the Quraan and du‘as, students continue their academic studies in a systematically developed way. They experience from classes in communication skills development in English and Arabic, Mathematics, physical education, library, and tarbiyyah classes. Special attention is given to learning recitation of the Quraan with correct Tajweed. A low student to teacher ratio of 8:1 enables the teachers to give individual attention to each student.

A library is a fundamental tool for the development of a persona, more so the student. The Leader’s School library provides a welcoming environment for the whole school community, where the needs of all students and staff are met. All the staff of the school is encouraged to visit the library at their convenience and explore their interests.

The library staff serves and supports the educational needs of the students and the staff of IISD. The school library promotes equity through fulfilling the needs of all the readers, providing services to all students and teachers, There is proactive support for student learning, and the library team makes recommendations to the teaching staff with relevance to their subject specializations and interests.

The library staff also models integrity through their day-to-day interactions with students and other academic staff members. They respect the students’ individual choices in the reading genre and encourage diversity by helping them select resources to match their varied interests. The team maximizes opportunities to promote the use of library facilities and resources and uses their expertise to ensure that the users’ needs are met.

The library resources include a unique collection of Islamically-oriented English literature books, Islamic books in English and Arabic, subscribed magazines and varied multi-media resources such as audiobooks. IISD library is constantly adding new resources throughout the school year to keep collections dynamic. It offers a broad range of reference materials, fiction & non-fiction. It supports both ‘learning to read’ and ‘reading to learn’ methodologies with informational and imaginative text and academic subjects, are available in all the three Languages taught in the school: English, Arabic & Bangla. Our library resources are inclusive of the Islamic faith, culture, and civilization. The school ensures that all library resources on Islam are accurate and authentic.
